
Terry Heady has been representing victims of all manner of accidents and injuries for 18 years. He is experienced not only with personal injury lawsuits but also with nursing home cases, medical malpractice cases, and wrongful death cases.
Mr. Heady has been named as one of the Top 100 litigation lawyers in the State of Illinois for both 2012 and 2013 by the American Society of Legal Advocates. He is also a member of the federal trial bar for the Northern District of Illinois. His experience in successfully trying cases to verdict is helpful when negotiating with insurance adjusters, who know that if they do not make a fair settlement offer, Mr. Heady is ready, willing, and able to take the case to trial.
Mr. Heady litigates cases in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs and has tried jury cases in Cook, Kane, Kendall, DuPage, Winnebago, and Will counties.
In addition to personal injury and medical malpractice matters, Mr. Heady represents employees who have been wrongfully terminated or subjected to illegal discrimination. He handles Title VII discrimination cases, including those based on race, sex, disability, and age, as well as sexual harassment and retaliatory discharge cases. Mr. Heady has litigated employment discrimination matters in federal court and before the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
