David is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the area of Criminal Trial law. Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar, and is a distinction held by only 7% of the licensed attorneys in Florida.
David is a former prosecutor who now focuses his practice on representing individuals in Federal and State criminal courts in the Tampa Bay Area and across the United States. David has vast experience in pretrial litigation, trial, sentencing, and appeals. He has successfully obtained acquittals in both Federal and State courts following trial on behalf of his clients. In addition to his trial practice, David has represented clients before the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Florida 2nd District Court of Appeals.

In addition to his criminal practice, David represents clients in select civil litigation matters. He has represented companies and individuals in connection with fraud and civil theft claims, commercial disputes, asset forfeiture, securities and tax disputes, and professional liability - including investor fraud and negligence.
David graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law with his dual JD/MBA degree. At graduation, he earned a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy, focusing in the areas of white-collar crime, securities, and tax issues. Prior to attending law school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of South Carolina, Columbia.
