Justine is a dedicated attorney who has a reputation for taking a hands-on approach with her clients and aggressively advocating on their behalf. She is committed to helping victims of sexual abuse navigate civil litigation in an empowering way.
Justine received her Juris Doctorate from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2013 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy in 2010 from Hartwick College. In 2008 Justine studied cultural and political curricula at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute of Governance culminating in an internship at the Scottish Parliament.
Justine began her civil litigation career at a small firm advocating for clients who suffered civil rights violations in Supreme and Federal Court. Justine spent the next portion of her career as Senior Counsel representing the City of New York in the Law Department’s Bronx Tort Division and then with a boutique, women-owned insurance defense firm. These experiences provide Justine with an invaluable perspective into the defense world’s strategies and methods.
After years of defense work, Justine realized how much she missed helping others though the practice of law. She is excited to return to her roots representing victims of abuse and use the skills she has learned throughout her career to advocate for victims of sexual abuse.
Justine is a member of the New York State bar and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York. Recognized by her peers for her achievements, Justine has been named for inclusion in New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2021 and 2022. In 2018, as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, she received a Division Chief Award in recognition of her outstanding work.
