Michelle has been practicing bankruptcy for over twenty years in New York and New Jersey. She feels that individuals and small businesses should receive the same excellent service and attention to detail as the large corporations, credit card companies, and banks that are legally pursuing them. As Thomas Jefferson stated, “…banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.” In the bankruptcy court, Michelle sued on behalf of her clients to challenge tax and unemployment claims, student loans, and foreclosures. She has filed over 2,000 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases and 75 cases involving Fair Debt Practice Violations (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and student loan discharges.
