
Joshua Bedtelyon is a partner and personal injury attorney with Soroka and Associates, bringing more than 15 years of legal experience to the representation of individuals injured due to the negligence of others. His practice focuses on pre-litigation personal injury matters, where he works diligently to resolve claims efficiently while maximizing results for his clients. As a partner at Soroka & Associates, Joshua also plays a key role in firm operations, and in mentoring attorneys within the firm.
Joshua is known for his client-centered approach, taking the time to understand each client’s circumstances, concerns, and goals. He believes clear communication, accessibility, and strategic advocacy are essential to achieving successful outcomes and helping clients move forward with confidence.
He earned his Bachelor degree from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School. Joshua is licensed to practice law in Ohio and is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, as well as the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.
Throughout his career, Joshua has developed extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts, having handled a large number of trials over the course of his practice. He has argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and multiple Ohio Appellate Courts, and he is well known for his willingness to take on complex and challenging cases. Joshua is not afraid to pursue difficult matters when doing so is in his clients’ best interests. His extensive litigation background has been integral in maximizing prelitigation results.
In 2012, the Commonwealth of Kentucky bestowed upon Mr. Bedtelyon the commission of being a member of The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, the highest honor awarded to a civilian by the Kentucky General Assembly, in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service.
Outside of his legal practice, Joshua is married to his wife, Molly, and is the proud father of two sons, both of whom are very active in sports. He is a devoted Fighting Illini fan and enjoys an eclectic taste in music, interests that reflect his energetic and well-rounded approach both professionally and personally.
