Aaron is the son of a retired US Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and a career Credit Union Financial Expert. Growing up, Aaron lived in multiple locations spanning the nation including, Del Rio, Guam, and Wichita Falls, Texas. Aaron’s diverse background helped to foster cultural sensitivity and effective cross-cultural communication skills, leading to his ability to relate to, and represent, clients from all walks of life.
Aaron’s adaptability, resourcefulness, and conflict resolution skills has enabled him to find creative solutions tailored to the specific circumstances of each of his clients’ cases. Constantly convincing insurance companies and defense counsel that his clients are more than a claim number, Aaron strives to comprehend and convey the devastation brought upon his clients through the actions of reckless individuals, working diligently to recover all his clients deserve.
In addition to his affiliations with the Texas Bar, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and recognition as one of the National Top 100 Black Lawyers, Aaron leads a fulfilling life outside of the law. He finds joy in quality time with his wife, attorney Kimberly Godsey, and their three children, engaging in such activities such as attending church services and embarking on family travels. Additionally, he actively supports his oldest son’s basketball pursuits, his youngest son’s football team and encourages his daughter’s love for dance, theater, and music.
