Alan was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. His grandfather moved from Chicago to Monterrey, Mexico where he met and married Alan’s grandmother. They had nine children, one of them whom was Alan’s Father, Jose Miguel Garcia, An avid Air traffic controller with an adventurous soul. He made his way back to the US after meeting his beloved wife, Martha, a surgeon, and having three children. One of which was Alan. Alan arrived in Houston, Texas at the young age of 10 years old.
Growing up in Alief, Texas and attending Alief Middle School and Elsik High School. He then obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Houston and in 2015, his Law Degree from the University of Houston Law Center as well, where he was acting Vice President of HLSA (Hispanic Law Student Association) and was an editorial member of the Business and Tax Law Journal. During law school, he also interned at Pemex, the National Oil Company, in Mexico City. Alan considers himself a Texan!
Because of his life’s complex diversity, Alan is fluent in both, English and Spanish. He understands that his clients need the guidance and expertise of the law to accomplish their legal goals; whether that means getting a criminal case dismissed to winning a settlement on a negligence case. Alan is committed to achieving the best results for his clients doing everything within his power and his associates to achieve that goal. He knows what it means to work hard and start from the bottom and thus appreciates his clients and their efforts to strive to succeed and have a better life.
