Attorney Alissa C. Doiron earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Massachusetts School of Law in 2017, where she received a CALI award for her performance in criminal narcotics law. In college and throughout law school, she gained a variety of legal experience by interning at the Springfield District Courthouse and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office. She was admitted to practice law in Connecticut in 2020 and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in early 2021. She began her legal career as an Associate Attorney at Jon L. Schoenhorn & Associates, LLC., where she specialized in criminal law in both the state and federal courts, as well as researching and briefing matters before the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.Â
Although recently licensed, Alissa has been specifically drawn to the practice of criminal law from a very young age. The profession allows her competitive nature the ability to thrive in zealously advocating for clients who have been involved with, or witness to traumatic, life-altering events. Through years of exposure and dedication to criminal matters, Alissa has become familiar with each and every stage of the process. She has experience ranging from an initial arrest to sentencing. Her myriad of participation in criminal cases involves initial investigations, bond hearings, pretrial motions, legal research and writing, oral arguments, plea negotiations, trial preparation, jury selection, sentencing, and if necessary, appellate briefing. She is highly motivated to get you the justice that you deserve.
