Mr. Theweny is a dedicated attorney specializing in personal injury matters, employment law, business litigation, real estate, and business formation. Born and raised in San Diego, Mr. Theweny has a deep-rooted connection to this city and the community members who make it great. Mr. Theweny is a proud graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he earned a degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law, graduating cum laude. Following his passion for the law and spirit of helping others, Mr. Theweny attended California Western School of Law and received his Juris Doctor.

Prior to forming AST Law, PC, Mr. Theweny worked for two prestigious law firms based in Los Angeles and San Diego, where he gained invaluable experience as a litigator and represented several Fortune 500 companies, in multi-million dollar, high-exposure litigation matters. Mr. Theweny has handled all aspects of litigation from beginning to end including propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending countless depositions, engaging in arbitration/mediation, participating in court appearances, and drafting/arguing a considerable amount of motions in both State and Federal Courts.

Currently, Mr. Theweny's legal practice focuses on representing individuals who have been injured at no fault of their own, obtaining fair compensation on their behalf. In addition, Mr. Theweny handles employment matters representing individuals who have been incorrectly misclassified as independent contractors, wage and hour issues, and discrimination in the workplace. Mr. Theweny also handles business litigation matters, business formation, and government licensing including Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) licensing.
