Arya is a California native with strong ties to the Los Angeles community. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California State University, Northridge. After college, Arya ran a successful startup company involved in product distribution and servicing for large corporations in Silicon Valley. During this time, Arya witnessed the prevalent inequities between consumers and corporations. These inequities influenced Arya to leave behind a successful business to pursue a career in law to balance the scales of justice between consumers and corporations.
Arya received his law degree from Southwestern Law School in his native Los Angeles. During his time in law school, Arya was an active member of the Children’s Rights Legal Clinic where he litigated cases against local school districts for constitutional violations of Free and Appropriate Public Education (“FAPE”). During law school, Arya also worked at Bet Tzedek where he represented senior citizens in real estate title fraud, elder abuse, and consumer protection cases.
Prior to starting Bellum Law Group, Arya worked at a prominent Los Angeles based consumer protection firm where he litigated hundreds of cases against many S&P 500 corporations and automobile manufacturers.
During his free time Arya enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, off-roading, and working-out. He has also devoted many hours to pro bono work, where he routinely advocates for underrepresented individuals—earning him the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services, and the California Legislature Assembly’s Certificate of Recognition for Public Service and Leadership.
Arya speaks English, French, Farsi, and Spanish (he’s working on this one).
