Ashley focuses her practice in the area of litigation. While in law school, Ashley interned for one summer at Gallagher & Kennedy, where she was able to acquaint herself with many aspects of the firm’s practice including, researching and drafting demand letters, pleadings, and memoranda concerning plaintiff’s personal injury, products liability, premises liability, negligence, commercial litigation, employment litigation, participating in client-counseling meetings, mediation settlements, and on-site witness interviews; and attending depositions, and federal and state court hearings.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in English and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in December 2014, a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 2017, and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2020.
Ashley is an Arizona native from Casa Grande, Arizona. After attending Loyola University in Chicago, she returned to Arizona and taught high school English as a Teach For America corps member in Phoenix. She continues her work in education and the Arizona community as a Teach For America Alumni Leadership Board member.
During law school, Ashley served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal for Social Justice at Arizona State University. She also participated in the Public Defender Clinic with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office, gaining valuable courtroom experience by advocating at preliminary hearings and sentencing proceedings as a Rule 38 Limited Practice Student Attorney.
Ashley served in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and the ASU Diversity Pipeline Initiative, where she mentored local Arizona high school students for regional and national moot court competitions. Ashley also served in the Chicano/Latino Law Student Association and the Women Law Students Association. Ashley served as a Teaching Assistant for various courses, including Contracts, Legal Analysis, Torts, and Constitutional Law.
