Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Portland State University in 1991 before attending the Willamette University College of Law. There, he graduated cum laude in 1994 and served as an associate editor for the Willamette Law Review and the Willamette Bulletin of International Law and Policy.

Benjamin is licensed to practice law in Oregon and is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. An experienced litigator, Benjamin began his legal career in criminal defense, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience and tried numerous cases to verdict. For the past two decades, he has devoted his practice to advocating for injured individuals and their families.
