Benjamin B. Grandy is the founder of Grandy Injury Law, a Portland-based personal injury firm dedicated to representing accident victims and their families throughout Oregon. Education and Background

Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Arts from Portland State University in 1991 and his Juris Doctor cum laude from Willamette University College of Law in 1994, where he served as an associate editor for both the Willamette Law Review and the Willamette Bulletin of International Law and Policy. He is admitted to practice in Oregon and before the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.

Benjamin began his career as a criminal defense attorney, where he tried numerous cases to verdict and developed the courtroom skills that now serve his injury clients. For more than 20 years, he has focused his practice on civil personal injury and crime victim representation — a combination that gives him a distinctive perspective on cases involving overlapping civil and criminal issues.

Benjamin is an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) and the Oregon State Bar. His leadership roles include:

Personal

Born in Cádiz, Spain, while his father served in the U.S. Navy, Benjamin moved to Oregon as a child and has called Portland home for more than 40 years. He is a native Spanish-speaking personal injury lawyer committed to making quality legal representation accessible to Oregon's Hispanic and Latino community. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
