Brook (Ptacek) West is a trial attorney at Bell Law Firm, representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to medical malpractice. Before joining Bell Law Firm, Brook practiced at Beasley Allen as a medical malpractice attorney, recovering over $26 million for victims in just three years.
A Georgia native, Brook earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law with a Pro Bono and Public Service Distinction, completing over 1,000 hours of pro bono work. She also holds a B.A. from Loyola University New Orleans.
Beyond her litigation experience, Brook is actively engaged in the legal community. She is a member of GTLA’s LEAD program. Her legal expertise has also been recognized through her selection as a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Outside of work, Brook is a devoted Braves fan, enjoys true crime podcasts, and loves spending time with her family – her husband, young son, and two dogs, Otto and Boots.
