Mr. Lampert earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law in 1979, where he received the American Jurisprudence Prize in Contracts as well as the American Law Book Prize for most significant contribution toward overall legal scholarship. He also served as a writer for the Denver Law Journal. Upon graduation Mr. Lampert clerked for United States District Court Judge, Hatfield O. Chilson, in Colorado for a year.

Prior to law school, Mr. Lampert received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in 1970, where he was active in the Kappa Sigma fraternity, Naval ROTC, and intramural athletics. After graduating with honors, Mr. Lampert attended Naval Flight School in Pensacola, Florida. He was then assigned as an intelligence officer with a Navy F-4 fighter squadron for two cruises to Southeast Asia aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea (CVA-43).

Dedicated to aviation safety, Mr. Lampert is a frequent lecturer at educational institutions, has authored many articles on aviation law, and is a speaker at seminars on trial tactics, mass-disaster litigation, and complex product liability cases.

In addition to membership in the American Association for Justice (f/k/a ATLA), Mr. Lampert has served in a leadership role on the governing board of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. He is an active pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings and flies several hundred hours a year in the firm’s aircraft.
