
Mr. Gartland is a proud graduate of Port Charlotte High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Forensic Studies and Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating with honors, followed by a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was active in the trial team, served as president of the Law Student Transfer Organization, and received multiple distinctions for advocacy, pro bono work, and academic focus in criminal justice.
With nearly fifteen years of experience representing injured individuals across Florida, Mr. Gartland joined Kogan & DiSalvo in late 2025. He is known for his compassionate, client-centered approach—prioritizing each client’s medical recovery and long-term well-being before pursuing resolution.
His heartfelt commitment to justice fuels his fight against large corporations and insurance companies, earning him a proven track record of results and recognition as a trusted advocate during some of the most difficult moments in his clients’ lives.
