Casey Krizman is the Founding Attorney at Krizman Law in Denver, Colorado, a firm built for one purpose: relentless, fearless criminal defense for those who need it most.
Domestic violence defense is at the heart of what Krizman Law does. From serious misdemeanor DV cases to the most complex felony charges, Mr. Krizman brings the same relentless energy to every client. This is not a firm for minor matters, but it is a firm for everybody. Your case may not be a felony, but it is the biggest case in your world and we will treat it that way. That is just what we do.
When the stakes are highest, murder, sex assault, violent felonies, Krizman Law is the firm you call. In private practice, Mr. Krizman has compiled an extraordinary trial record of 35 Not Guilty verdicts out of 41 trials, including Not Guilty verdicts in Sex Assault on a Child, Sex Assault and Attempted Murder cases.
As a former public defender, Mr. Krizman brings rare insider knowledge of the criminal justice system. He knows how prosecutors think, how cases are built, and exactly where to attack.
A Colorado native, Mr. Krizman graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he was a member of the prestigious National Trial Team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa and completed the Program on Negotiation Mastery at Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining the Colorado Bar, Mr. Krizman clerked for renowned defense attorneys Michael S. Axt and Randy C. Canney. He previously served as a Deputy Public Defender at the Aurora Public Defender’s Office.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Krizman competes as an Ironman triathlete and has coached trial advocacy at Regis Jesuit High School, the University of Denver undergraduate program and DU Sturm College of Law. He has testified before the Colorado General Assembly House and Senate and the Aurora City Council in defense of public defenders’ rights. He is married and the father of one son, Atticus.
