Chad Roberts is the owner and proprietor of Sunshine Law Group. Chad began his solo practice in 2022. His practice focuses on criminal defense, civil litigation, traffic cases, DUI, and Family Law/Divorce. Chad practices in both the general district and circuit courts in addition to matters before local government entities. Chad is also admitted to practice in the United States District Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to starting his solo practice, he was with the law firm of Schempf & Ware. Before Chad began practicing law, he served on active duty with the United States Air Force. He graduated from Regent University School of Law and began private practice, and then joined the Newport News Commonwealth's Attorney's Office as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney.
Chad is heavily involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of two nonprofit organizations.
