Christopher R. Dixon is the founder and managing attorney of The Dixon Injury Firm, a St. Louis personal injury law firm that has recovered more than $60 million for injury victims and their families through verdicts, judgments, and settlements. Licensed in Missouri and Illinois and practicing since 2007, Chris has been selected to Super Lawyers®, recognized among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers, and holds a Lifetime Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum — a distinction reserved for attorneys who have won million-dollar and multi-million-dollar results for their clients.
Chris built his firm on a promise most injury firms can't make: clients work directly with their attorney, they are not simply a case number. The Dixon Injury Firm stays deliberately selective about the cases it takes so that every client gets an attorney's full attention — aggressive and compassionate representation, delivered with clear communication at every stage.
Some of his many results include a $30,000,000 recovery in a case involving two child victims of sexual abuse by a former U.S. prosecutor, a $12,000,000 wrongful death recovery for the family of a young girl killed in a car accident, and numerous seven-figure recoveries for car accident victims, including cases involving drunk and uninsured drivers.
Chris grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Lindbergh High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2004, double majoring in Finance & Banking and Real Estate — a financial foundation that still shapes how he values cases: lost earnings, future care costs, and the full economic weight of an injury, documented and demanded. He earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2007, gaining courtroom experience during law school with the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney's Office — the work that made him a trial lawyer.
That trial-first mindset defines the practice today. Most injury cases settle, but insurers know which lawyers actually prepare for trial, and they price their offers accordingly. Chris prepares every case as though a jury will decide it — because trial is where a community enforces its own safety standards, and the willingness to go there is what keeps settlement offers honest.
Chris's practice centers on car accidents, truck and tractor-trailer collisions, motorcycle accidents, rideshare accidents, dog bites, workers' compensation, and wrongful death, with additional work in medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, and class actions. Beyond Missouri and Illinois, he is brought into serious injury cases nationwide — most often catastrophic tractor-trailer collisions — admitted pro hac vice to work alongside local counsel.
Chris lives in St. Louis with his wife, Megan, and their two sons, Elliot and Fletcher. He is the co-founder of The St. Louis Suit Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing quality business attire to individuals in need.
