Chris was a judicial law clerk for the Alexandria Circuit Court for two years. His exposure to the trial court process, as a law clerk, forged his passion for trial. Under the guidance of the judges of the trial court, his law school education instantly materialized into practical experience.
Chris left his clerkship determined to be a trial attorney. As a result, Chris went to work for the trial division of Nationwide Insurance, a Fortune 100 insurance company. As a Nationwide Insurance trial attorney for several years, his primary focus was car accident cases. He defended individuals and companies from lawsuits, and as a subrogation plaintiff's attorney, filed lawsuits against individuals and companies. Subsequently, Chris worked for a period of time at a national insurance defense law firm, where he handled a variety of cases that included complex personal injury, premises liability, and other general liability matters.
Chris now brings his passion, experience, and insight as to how lawsuits work, from both adversarial positions, to every case, in his fight to accomplish great results for his clients at The Law Office of Christopher G. Findlater.
Chris is an involved member of Grace Covenant Church, a diverse, non-denominational church, in Chantilly, Virginia. He is married to Cynthia Lopez Findlater, who has extensive marketing and business development experience. She brings her knowledge and skills to the law office, as the firm's office and marketing manager. Chris enjoys the outdoors and traveling with Cynthia, as well as spending time with family. He likes cooking and experiencing different types of food. In his downtime, he enjoys playing basketball, jogging trails, composing music, attending live concerts, and watching movies.
