Chris Heywood is an experienced Trial Attorney who handles misdemeanors, serious felonies and Measure 11 matters throughout Oregon. Chris brings his unique insight as a former prosecutor to the firm and leverages that experience to aid his clients in all aspects of their case. Mr. Heywood has handled hundreds of criminal cases in his career and has tried more than seventy cases to trial, including serious felonies and Ballot Measure 11 offenses.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office for five years. There Chris handled serious felony matters including cases involving charges of murder and attempted murder, sexual abuse and felony domestic violence.
Chris received his law degree from University of Oregon. He also earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University where he studied Political Science and Criminal Justice. He is licensed to practice in Oregon and is a member of both the Clackamas County and Multnomah County Bar Associations.
