Clinton F. Redfern, Esquire, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2011, and has actively focused his practice on representing the rights of injured victims. Clint concentrates in the areas of Serious Injury and Death Claims, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Workers Compensation Claims, Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Claims and Litigation, Premises Liability, Defective and Dangerous Products, School and Education Litigation, and Boating and Water Accidents.
Clint was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He graduated from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill in 2004. Thereafter, Clint attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, graduating in May 2008 with a BA degree in Government. While at Wofford, Clint was on the Dean's List, served as a delegate on the Interfraternal Council and was an active member and officer of Kappa Alpha Order. During his January 2007 interim term, Clint participated in a Pre-Law Interim Program which allowed him to intern with a civil litigation firm in Spartanburg. Clint accompanied the attorneys to court hearings and depositions and enjoyed the experience so much that he joined the Wofford Pre-Law Society and made plans to attend law school after graduation.
Clint entered the University of South Carolina School of Law in the fall of 2009. During law school, Clint was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and the Student Bar Association. In the fall of 2010, he earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Legal Writing. The summer after his 1L year, Clint began working as a law clerk at Chappell Smith & Arden, P.A., a litigation firm in Columbia focused on the representation of plaintiffs in complex personal injury and workers' compensation matters. Clint continued to clerk with the firm until his graduation in May 2011.
After graduating from law school, Clint was admitted to the South Carolina Bar and moved to the lowcountry to begin practicing law. In 2012, Clint began working as an associate attorney at Svalina Law Firm, P.A., a plaintiff's litigation firm in Beaufort/Bluffton. As an associate attorney, Clint successfully litigated severe personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, workers compensation claims, premises liability claims, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, and defective and dangerous products matters.
In May 2019, Clint joined McDougall Law Firm, LLC.
In his free time, Clint is an avid Carolina Panthers fan, and enjoys fishing, cooking and boating around Beaufort.
