
Colton Newlin is a litigation attorney in the St. Louis office of Brown & Crouppen. With a practice focusing on wrongful death, car and trucking collisions, premises liability, products liability, and childhood sexual abuse, Colton handles lawsuits in both Illinois and Missouri.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law, with a Certificate in Health Law from the nation's top-ranked program, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Colton is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, where he serves on the Leonard Cervantes Diversity Committee. His work has earned recognition, including repeated selection into The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and Super Lawyers® Rising Stars.
Outside of the courtroom, Colton contributes to the Brown & Crouppen legal blog, addressing practical questions that injured people face - covering statutes of limitations, concussion and post-concussive symptoms, and rideshare collision liability. In his free time, Colton is an avid hiker, a culinary enthusiast, an aspiring virtuosic pianist, and a proud dog dad to his Labrador-Pointer, Sage.
