For over 30 years Dave Halpern has been actively representing the rights of victims of asbestos exposure. Halpern has investigated, litigated, and settled hundreds of mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases.
Halpern has a commitment to leaving no stone unturned. He is involved in every case meeting and preparing clients, sending out a discovery to defendants, and taking corporate depositions. His discovery often involves site inspections and document inspections at the worksites our clients have worked at. This type of commitment and dedication ensures the companies at fault are held responsible for their actions and has resulted in many millions of dollars recovered for Philadelphia and New Jersey asbestos victims.
Prior to starting his own firm Halpern worked for a nationally recognized asbestos plaintiffs firm in Philadelphia. His legal achievements include being part of a team that obtained a verdict on behalf of two mesothelioma victims for over $18 million.
Notably, David understands the pain associated with disease and yearly he honors the memory of his late father with an annual Parkinson Golf Tournament that he started in 2000. Dave has been married for 15 years and the proud father of two wonderful children ages 13 and 11.
Halpern is a graduate of Temple University in 1984 and Delaware Law School in 1987. Following graduation in 1987, he clerked for one year for the Honorable Michael R. Stiles in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Halpern is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
