Dawn M. Pinnisi is a Partner with the Firm. She was born and raised in New York City and attended Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Pinnisi predominantly handles injury claims on behalf of victims of products liability, professional malpractice and negligence. She has nearly twenty years of experience advocating for injured clients. She has recovered millions of dollars in jury verdicts, settlements, arbitrations and mediations on behalf of injury victims.
Ms. Pinnisi has had the honor to represent New York City Police Officers who were injured in the line of duty as well as railroad workers who were forced to work in unsafe and dangerous conditions. Her efforts contributed to significant policy changes and safety protocols intended to protect Police Officers and railroad workers from similar injury in the future. Ms. Pinnisi has worked to protect children as well. As a result of a lawsuit she filed against the City of New York for having dangerous spinning discs in its playgrounds that were causing injury to children, changes were implement to prevent such injuries in the future.
Ms. Pinnisi has also been able to effectuate change to protect people who were victims of defective products from similar injury in the future. She recently handled a significant product liability case where, as a direct result of the claims asserted against the manufacturer, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall of the dangerous stroller due to a defective hinge that amputated a ten month old girl's finger.
Ms. Pinnisi is a long standing member of various Bar Associations including the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and she was honored with a very exclusive designation by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the 'Top 100 Trial lawyers'.
