Dwana Waltman joined The Lanier Law Firm in February of 2009 as an intake attorney for the toxic tort division.
Mrs. Waltman was born in Lufkin, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University, magna cum laude, in 1993 with a degree in Sociology and attended law school at Texas Tech University. Mrs. Waltman was in private practice in Lubbock before taking a position as an Executive Director of a non-profit legal organization. Under her direction, the agency tripled in size and vastly expanded services to the community. Prior to becoming a member of the firm, she worked with the trial team providing jury consultant services.
Mrs. Waltman is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Northwest Bar Association. She is licensed to practice United States District Court, Northern District of Texas.
Mrs. Waltman makes her home in Houston where she lives with her husband Judson and their two children Jackson and Ellie. She is an active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church where she serves on the Family Life Committee and teaches kindergarten Sunday School. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising and volunteering at her children's school.
