Eugene Felton, Jr. is a Founding Partner at Seay/Felton LLC Trial Lawyers, a personal injury litigation law firm that is committed to fighting for justice for its clients.
He is an accomplished litigator that focuses primarily on cases related to nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, and personal injury.
Eugene is a highly regarded attorney with over 26 years of experience handling complex, civil litigation. He has appeared successfully before the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Before Seay/Felton, Eugene handled catastrophic personal injury claims at The Chestnut Firm. From 2005-2012, he was a Senior Attorney at Thomas, Means, Gillis & Seay where he managed major medical malpractice and personal injury cases. During his time there, Eugene was named "Top Producing Associate" for 2007 and 2008.
A Marshallville, Georgia native, Eugene is a former Assistant District Attorney in Bibb County, GA. He tried over 35 cases to verdict from 2001 to 2005. Eugene was assigned felony cases involving crimes against persons such as aggravated assaults, armed robberies, and homicides. He was also assigned significant white-collar crimes involving Georgia's RICO statute.
Eugene is associated with the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He currently enjoys serving as a coach for the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Children's Industrial Home. He is also a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and the Morehouse College Alumni Association.
Eugene earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science with honors from Morehouse College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee School of Law.
