Gabe T. Cliett grew up in Metter, Georgia, where he continues to live and raise his family. During that time, he became deeply involved with the Bulloch County/Statesboro, Georgia community and Georgia Southern University. While in high school at Metter High School, Gabe worked for a local law firm where he began to develop his love of the law and a desire to help others.
Gabe began his career in 2004 as a criminal defense lawyer representing clients in various judicial circuits throughout Georgia. In 2009, his practice expanded into the areas of probate, family law, personal injury and real estate as the needs of his clients grew. In 2019, Mr. Cliett purchased the law office of W. Keith Barber, P.C. in Statesboro, Georgia, where Attorney Keith Barber continues to handle cases with Mr. Cliett.
Gabe has traveled throughout the State of Georgia representing the needs of his clients. He treats every case with the same level of importance, whether it is a misdemeanor, felony, DUI, real estate matter or a probate matter. Gabe prides himself on his willingness to take cases to trial and has handled hundreds of jury trials and bench trials in Municipal, State and Superior Courts.
Additionally, Mr. Cliett partners with leading investigators, consultants, and experts in order to provide his clients with the absolute best possibility for success in their case.
More Than Two Decades of Experience
As of 2022, Gabe has 18 years of legal experience and W. Keith Barber has over 26 years of legal experience.
Gabe and his wife reside in Metter with their children. He is a devoted member of the community as a member of Statesboro Kiwanis Club, Willow Lake Golf Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. He and his family attend Grace Community Church and Gabe has been a youth baseball coach for the past 12 years. Gabe proudly donates to numerous local causes, especially those involving academics and athletics for children.
