George is a partner in the Law Firm of Coia & Lepore, Ltd. He concentrates in the area of Civil Litigation. He has litigated numerous civil cases in Rhode Island state and federal Courts. He graduated from Providence College, magna cum laude, in 1974 and earned his law degree from Suffolk University in 1977. He is a member of the R.I. Bar Association, American Bar Association, U.S. District Court for Rhode Island and the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, he is on the Board of Governors of the R.I. Association for Justice and the Board of Directors of Roger Williams University Law School. He is also a member of the Justinian Law Society, St. Thomas More Society, R.I. Federal Court Bench/Bar Committee and the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Santopietro has served on the Commission on Judicial Tenure and Discipline and the R.I. Judicial Performance Legal/Education Partnership. He is one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the American Trial Lawyers Association and is one of R.I. "Super Lawyers". For more than thirty (30) years, he has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He has received numerous professional and community awards including the Dorothy Lohmann Award from the R.I. Bar Association.
