Greg Rosenfeld was born and raised in Manhasset, New York. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in both English and Philosophy. While in college, Greg began volunteering as a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Boulder branch of the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender.
Upon graduating, Greg returned to New York to become a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Legal Aid Society's Criminal Practice in Queens. In this role, he spent two years investigating hundreds of high profile felony cases.
Greg's success in New York led to him receiving a full academic and public interest scholarship to the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. While in law school, Greg received numerous honors and awards.
Most notably, he was an editor of The Roger Williams University Law Review and a member of the Honors Program. Greg graduated magna cum laude from law school in 2011.
Following law school, Greg moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in August 2011. He accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender in Palm Beach County. During his four years at the Public Defender's Office, Greg handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. These cases included DUIs, burglaries, drug trafficking offenses, sex offenses, and attempted first-degree murders. Greg has tried more than 40 criminal cases.
In addition to his extensive trial experience, Greg has a well-honed appellate skill set. While in law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Francis X. Flaherty of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He also handled habeas petitions for death row inmates for the California Appellate Project. As a practicing attorney in Florida, Greg has argued in front of the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
Greg is licensed by the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and was admitted to the Surpreme Court of the United States in 2017. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Palm Beach County Bar Association Criminal Law Practice Committee. He is also the Immediate Past President of the Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Additionally, Greg has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers 2016 through 2018 and 10 Best by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys and is a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. One of Attorney Rosenfeld's most recent and most impressive achievements is earning an AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating possible, based on his skill, ethics, client testimonials, and peer reviews.
