Mr. Santos received his law degree from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in 1991. Mr. Santos is admitted to practice law in both Nevada (1991) and California (1992). Mr. Santos has received an AV peer review rating by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating given. Mr. Santos has been listed in Who's Who in American Law, is a sustaining member of the Nevada Justice Association, and a member of both the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. He currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Nevada Association for Justice. Mr. Santos is also the Nevada Representative to the Republican Trial Lawyers Caucus of the American Association for Justice. Mr. Santos has been invited to lecture on various legal issues by the State Bar of Nevada, the National Judicial College, the Nevada Association for Justice and the Washoe County Bar Association. Mr. Santos has practiced in the area of personal injury and workers' compensation since being admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1991. He has tried thousands of workers' compensation hearings and appeals. Mr. Santos has also tried numerous arbitration, jury and bench trials. Mr. Santos is admitted to appear in all state courts in Nevada and California, US District Court, District of Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Santos has also met with members of the US Senate and Congress and the Nevada Assembly and Senate regarding issues affecting Nevadans, especially constitutional issues such as the 7th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution. Anytime a persons access to justice is threatened, Mr. Santos has fought to ensure our rights and protections afforded in the United States Constitution are not eroded or compromised. Mr. Santos is also an owner of the Reno Bighorns, a NBA Gatorade League professional basketball team. His partner is the Sacramento Kings. His team has been involved in the development of such NBA stars as Hassan Whiteside, Danny Green, Jeremy Lin and Garrett Temple. Mr. Santos, born and raised in Reno, is married to the former Kimberly Saylors of Las Vegas, and they have three children, Joey, Jarred and Hannah.
