Jason Sias
Sias Law, Inc.
Sacramento,
 CA

Jason has practiced law for more than 10 years and is known as a fierce and compassionate defender of Civil Rights and Criminal Defense. His work focuses on protection from large and powerful corporations. His clients are everyday people who have been taken advantage of by big banks and insurance companies, victims of excessive force by government officials, children in administrative proceedings, and individuals unfairly entangled in the criminal justice system. Mr. Sias litigates tenaciously for the results his client deserves.

Jason earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and is a member of the California and Louisiana state bars. Prior to Sias Law, Inc., he was a founding partner at Sias | Carr, LLP, a solo practitioner at the Law Office of Jason O. Sias, and has clerked for the Center for Juvenile Law & Policy, Bet Tzedek – The House of Justice, Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corporation, the Law Office of Ronald J. Higgins and the Law Office of Carlos A. Lloreda, Jr. He practices in both state and federal courts.

After founding Sias Law, Inc., Jason became a Co-founder of Community Justice Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, where he serves as the director of litigation and assists immigrants and people of color in mental health and immigration related litigation (i.e. writ of habeas corpus, writ mandamus petitions, FTCA complaints, public records requests, and post-conviction relief), and positive narrative amplification campaigns. He also provides professional development training in legal writing, research, trial skills and supervises court appearances.

Aside from practicing law, Jason has a keen interest in developing youth and communities of color for leadership: Jason served as lead teacher and coordinator for the Young Lawyer’s Program at Loyola Law School where he taught trial skills to minority high school students; serves on the board for Big Homie, a nonprofit that promotes positive mentorship for at risk youth; and volunteers with the National Action Network in promoting the interests and well-being of the African American community.
