Russell is a West Texas injury attorney dedicated to defending the rights of the injured in his community. Russell started as a clerk for The Carlson Law Firm and is now a full-time attorney. Since being licensed in 2018, Russell has represented clients in 22 West Texas counties and counting. He takes pride in helping people—whether they’re down the street or 100 miles away. He has significant experience in representing clients injured in wrecks involving commercial and oilfield trucks, as well as on-location injuries in the oilfield.
Working with The Carlson Law Firm team, Russell has recovered over $12.1 million for his clients in his first two years of practice.
Russell grew up in Midland, Texas. From an early age, he’s known the importance of standing up for people and being a voice for those in need. Russell has worked in the oilfields helping to rebuild wellheads, and on-location doing flowback work. He’s seen firsthand how unforgiving the vehicles, equipment, chemicals, and materials associated with the production of oil and gas can be. After putting his time in the oil patch, Russell decided to go to Law School to create an opportunity for himself to help others. He has worked in other areas of law, however, Russell ultimately found his calling in personal injury.
Seeing clients recover from their injuries and get their lives back on track makes this profession rewarding for Russell. If you want an attorney who cares, who will pursue your case professionally, and aggressively when the need arises, contact Russell now.
Russell earned a B.A. in Philosophy at Texas A&M and got his J.D. at the Texas Tech University School of Law. He was sworn into the Texas Bar in April 2018. Outside of the office, Russell is usually making plans with his family and friends. He enjoys travel, cooking, football, and going out with friends. Ask him about winning a Chili Cook-Off or building a sailboat!
