
Jeremy L. Thompson is an associate in the Miami, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C., where he focuses on helping employers navigate workplace challenges and achieve practical, business‑oriented solutions. His practice is centered on advising employers on compliance, risk management, and employment‑related disputes.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Jeremy practiced at an internationally recognized labor and employment law firm, where he represented management in a range of labor and employment matters. Earlier in his career, Jeremy served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army, including as Special Trial Counsel, where he handled more than 100 matters and developed a disciplined, trial‑ready approach to legal analysis and advocacy. He also served as a criminal Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, where he investigated more than 100 cases and prosecuted matters on behalf of the United States.
Across his public service and private practice experience, Jeremy has tried more than 30 federal administrative hearings and criminal trials. Drawing on that background, he brings a strategic and measured perspective to advising employers in today’s evolving employment law landscape. Jeremy began his legal career in the prestigious U.S. Department of Justice Honors Program.
