Jessica Beringer is a Partner at Keller Postman LLC. She draws upon years of experience litigating high-stakes, complex disputes on both sides of the “v” to advocate tirelessly for the firm’s clients.
At Keller Postman, Jessica currently represents the State of Texas in an enforcement action against Meta Platforms, formerly known as Facebook, for exploiting Texans’ biometric information in violation of Texas law. She leads the firm’s day-to-day efforts on this matter, working closely with the State of Texas and co-counsel to aggressively pursue the State’s claims. She also represents consumers in antitrust litigation against Amazon in which the firm has been appointed Co-Lead Class Counsel, and is responsible for managing the day-to-day work on this matter.
Jessica was recognized as a 2022 Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star for demonstrating outstanding professional achievement and attaining a high degree of peer recognition. Jessica was also named a 2022 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in recognition of her professional achievements.
Before joining Keller Postman, Jessica litigated high-stakes, complex commercial disputes at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She also previously represented pharmaceutical clients at Sidley Austin LLP in class action and mass tort product liability matters. Her experience representing defendants gives her insight into the defense playbook and allows her to craft effective strategies against sophisticated adversaries.
Jessica graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
