John grew up in Sedalia, Missouri. In 2013, John graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a degree in Political Science. John attended law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, obtaining his law degree in 2016. While in law school, John was on the Dean's List, a member of the UMKC All Journal Staff, and served as a Research Editor for UMKC Law Review. In his first year of law school, John was awarded Outstanding Client Counselor. During law school, John's writing was published in the UMKC Law Review and The Missouri Trial Attorney. John was promoted to partner in January 2023.
John focuses his practice on representing people and families who have been harmed by others in personal injury, railroad litigation (crossing wreck, derailments, and FELA cases), product liability, auto accidents, and tractor-trailer litigation. In May 2022, John obtained a $9.77 million verdict in Louisiana for a client who was severely injured in a railroad crossing collision.
