John Ingrassia is the managing partner at Larkin Ingrassia Criminal Defense Attorneys, where he focuses exclusively on criminal defense. A significant portion of his practice centers on defending individuals charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and related offenses. With extensive experience, he has successfully represented clients in trials, suppression hearings, appeals, and Department of Motor Vehicles administrative hearings.
A recognized authority in DWI defense, Mr. Ingrassia has served as a lecturer for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, providing training to attorneys on behalf of the New York State Bar Association and various local bar associations on criminal defense and trial practice topics. Additionally, he has been a guest speaker for the New York State Office of Court Administration, educating judges on DWI-related legal issues.

Mr. Ingrassia’s legal career began as a Law Assistant to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department, in Albany, New York. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in Goshen, New York.
Mr. Ingrassia earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Saint Bonaventure University and his Juris Doctor, also with honors, from Syracuse University College of Law.
