Since J.D. was a young boy, he dreamed of being a lawyer and helping those in need.
J.D. says, "We represent people who find themselves in tough situations and have gone through traumatic events, and we get to help them get back on their feet. I can't imagine a more rewarding job."

J.D. is married to the former Mary Kathryn Donner; the couple has two children, Selah and Kathryn Lily.
