Joseph C. Stimmel is a senior litigation associate with the firm and is committed to helping clients with their biggest life challenges. Joseph’s practice focuses on personal injury, employment, commercial, and other civil litigation matters in New Jersey and New York.
Mr. Stimmel has significant exposure to many phases of litigation practice from the initial Complaint stage through trial. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stimmel worked for several top-ranked, large law firms in a variety of civil litigation matters. Mr. Stimmel has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants, ranging from individuals to large corporations, in often high-stakes, multi-million-dollar matters.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Stimmel completed a judicial clerkship in the New Jersey state trial court for the Honorable Michael Cresitello, Jr. During his clerkship, Mr. Stimmel regularly drafted judicial opinions, attended court proceedings, mediated lawsuits as a court-certified mediator, and more. He also completed a judicial internship in the New Jersey federal trial court for the Honorable Esther Salas. These judicial experiences have given Mr. Stimmel unique, behind-the-scenes perspectives on courtroom procedures and judicial decision-making.
Mr. Stimmel is also an active member of the Brennan-Vanderbilt Inn of Court, where he receives ongoing mentorship and training from top trial lawyers in various aspects of civil litigation and trial practice.
In addition, Mr. Stimmel is bilingual in Spanish and welcomes opportunities to work with Spanish-speaking clients.
