Mr. Elbaz grew up in Suwanee, GA and attended high school and college in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Joshua prides himself on the fact that he is a true “Gwinnettian”. For his undergraduate studies, Joshua studied at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. He then went on to attend Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and graduated with distinct honors and awards.
During his law school career, Joshua wasted no time in getting to work. He worked with Metro Atlanta's most experienced criminal defense attorney, where he garnered and took an extensive interest in criminal trial work. During law school, Joshua participated in over 10 felony jury trials. After graduation, Joshua mastered his trial skills by serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting major felony cases.
Mr. Elbaz also teaches as an Adjunct Professor of legal studies at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) during his free time. Mr. Elbaz takes pride being in the courtroom and fighting for his clients. Joshua is a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association; the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL); and The National Trial Lawyers Association where he has been inducted as a Top 40 under 40 Trial Lawyer. During his free time, Joshua loves to work-out, play sports, and travel.
