Josh Wood is the founding attorney of Wood Injury Law, a personal injury law firm based in Mesa, Arizona. With more than 20 years of legal and law enforcement experience, Josh has dedicated his career to representing individuals and families who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others.
Josh is a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where he earned his law degree. Before opening his own practice, Josh gained invaluable experience on both sides of the legal system. He served as a law enforcement officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where he developed a deep understanding of accident investigation, evidence collection, and the real-world impact that serious injuries have on victims and their families.
After his time in law enforcement, Josh transitioned into the legal field and worked as a defense attorney for one of the nation's largest auto insurance companies. This experience gave him direct insight into how insurance carriers evaluate claims, minimize payouts, and use delay tactics to pressure injured people into accepting less than they deserve. That inside knowledge now works in favor of every client Josh represents.
Josh left the insurance defense world because he wanted to help the people who needed it most. He saw firsthand how insurance companies treated accident victims, and he made the decision to fight for injured individuals rather than against them. Today, he brings that same determination and insider knowledge to every personal injury case he handles.
