Julie has excelled in her career and her education because she doesn't view practicing law as a job. Instead, she recognizes that the primary function of her role is providing her community with a necessary service. Julie has compassionately helped clients through injuries from car wrecks, 18-wheeler and commercial vehicle crashes, dog bites, dram shop, premises liability cases and daycare injury. She has also helped families through wrongful death cases.

Her most notable case to date was out of the 146th Judicial District Court of Bell County. A rear-end collision caused her client to sustain a traumatic brain injury, as well as a neck and back injury that required surgery. Because of the expertise of Julie and another Carlson Law Firm attorney, the jury awarded nearly $1 million to assist our client with medical bills and other expenses stemming from the collision. Since this case, Julie has settled several million dollar cases on behalf of her clients.
Julie graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 2006; she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2003. As the mother of special needs child, she feels strongly that children and adults of all abilities are entitled to a life of choice, independence and equality.
