Attorney | Mass Tort Director
Born and raised in the City of Central, Louisiana, in East Baton Rouge Parish, Kacia N. Cook has dedicated her career to advocating for individuals harmed by defective products and pharmaceuticals. She focuses her practice on product liability litigation involving defective drugs, defective medical devices, and defective products, with an emphasis on mass tort and complex litigation.
Kacia earned her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. Her legal career is built on years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of how complex cases develop, evolve, and are defended.
Before becoming an attorney, Kacia built a strong legal foundation with 15 years of experience as a paralegal at a defense firm. That experience gave her valuable insight into how cases are evaluated from both sides and helps her guide clients with practical expectations throughout the legal process.
At Murphy Law Firm, Kacia handles mass tort litigation, product liability, defective pharmaceutical drugs and devices, class actions, and complex litigation. She approaches her work with focus, tenacity, and a deep commitment to helping clients pursue justice in high-stakes matters.
Commitment to Clients
Kacia understands that mass tort and complex litigation require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage many moving parts at once. She thrives in that fast-paced environment and brings a disciplined, client-focused approach to every case she handles.
Her background on the defense side gives her a unique perspective when evaluating claims and anticipating challenges. Clients who work with Kacia can expect thoughtful case management, honest communication, and an attorney who is committed to moving their case forward with care and precision.
