Founder & Managing Attorney
Kaitlin Simone DiMaggio, founder and managing attorney of DiMaggio Law Office, is driven by a personal mission. She pursued law to fight for a close family member who faced an unjust life sentence without parole. This experience fuels her passion for defending clients trapped in the legal system.
Kaitlin graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she completed over 350 hours of pro bono work. Her work focused on post-conviction cases for people claiming innocence or facing severe injustice. She also holds a Master of Counseling degree from Arizona State University and keeps her license to practice therapy.
Before becoming a lawyer, Kaitlin worked as a licensed therapist. She ran group and individual therapy sessions at a court-mandated counseling agency for individuals convicted of domestic violence and drug-related offenses. Later, she became Clinical Supervisor for an offender treatment program and Program Manager for a government contract. This background in counseling strengthens her role in criminal defense, giving her insight into offender rehabilitation and reform.
Kaitlin has extensive experience in criminal cases involving domestic violence, sexual offenses, DUIs, and more. She is also skilled in post-conviction cases and parole hearings. In family court, Kaitlin is a dedicated advocate, helping clients with custody disputes, divorce, and child support matters.
Kaitlin is licensed by the State Bar of Arizona and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the Criminal Justice Reform Team of the Arizona Faith Network, and the Healthy Families Arizona Advisory Board.
