Ms. Ortega is a Miami-native with deep roots in the Hispanic community. After graduating from Saint Brendan High School in 2005, Ms. Ortega enrolled in Florida International University where she was an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society and the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. Ms. Ortega graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biological Sciences.
After working at Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. for several years, she attended law school at the University of Miami Law School, she joined the firm as an associate handling complex litigation matters, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and products liability cases.
Ms. Ortega is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
In December of 2017, Ms. Ortega passed the United States Patent and Trademark Office Bar Exam and is currently heading up the new Intellectual Property practice at Goldberg & Rosen.
