Biography
Koro Khamo is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Khamo Law, an up-and-coming full-service law firm. Khamo Law was officially founded on November 2018 and has settled millions of dollars and helped hundreds of clients in that short period of time.
Koro has received many awards and accolades, including being named Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2018, Top 40 under 40 from National Trial Lawyers and American Academy of Attorneys, Best Injury lawyers in Rochester Hills by Expertise, Best Truck Accident Lawyers in Detroit by Expertise since 2020, Top Ranking Attorney for Personal Injury Law by American Association of Attorney Advocates, Top Professional by Marquis Who’s Who in American law. Out of all of the awards and accolades, the most rewarding award is 10 Best Client Satisfaction Award.
He has also been involved in several charitable organizations, which include Adopt-A-Child, Adopt-A-Family, Big Brother Big Sister, Gleaners, Greening of Detroit, Junior Achievement, Make-A-Difference Day, Meals-on-Wheels, MLK Day, Project Homeless Connect, Student Tutoring, Vista Maria, Volunteer Income Tax Association, and Wigs for Kids. The greatest charitable contribution Koro has made is not monetary, but it is the hair that he has donated. He donated his hair twice and donated over 20 inches of hair specifically to the young boys suffering from catastrophic and life-threatening cancers. Koro donated his hair to young boys because a lot of times, the young boys are embarrassed to wear wigs from females, that is why it is an absolutely rare commodity that Men donate hair.
Koro is a native-born in Baghdad, Iraq, but was raised in Michigan since 1997. Koro went to the University of Michigan Business School, where he successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He later attended Michigan State University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 2016.
Outside of work, Koro loves to spend time with family and friends, travel internationally, and eat at new restaurants.
