Kurt A. Offner began his career as a prosecutor for the New Orleans District Attorney’s Office. Subsequently, he was a trial attorney for a local insurance defense firm and a national insurance company representing insurance companies and trucking companies. Then, in 2011 Kurt started his own plaintiff’s personal injury firm and represented personal injury clients and injured workers. In addition, Kurt focused on BP Economic claims and mass torts. Finally, Kurt also represented pawnbrokers Louisiana. In fact, Kurt co-authored the books Federal Laws Affecting Pawnbrokers and Louisiana Law of Pawn and Secondhand Dealers (4th Ed.).
In late 2015, Kurt joined Alvendia, Kelly, and Demarest, LLC and continues to focus on cases involving injuries sustained in 18-wheeler accidents, auto accidents, work injuries, and mass torts.
Kurt is a New Orleans native and graduate of Jesuit High School. Mr. Offner obtained his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his law degree from LSU. Kurt is a Cub Scout Den leader and a member of involved in the St. Catherine of Siena Men’s Club.
