Larry Perry, co-founder and managing partner of Perry and Young, is a distinguished personal injury and wrongful death attorney with over 30 years in the legal practice. Leading the firm with offices in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Marianna, and Tallahassee, Larry focuses on areas of law including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, heavy truck accident cases, products liability, medical malpractice, and sexual abuse cases.
Before becoming a lawyer, Larry worked as a legal investigator utilizing his skills in gathering accident evidence and collaborating with experts. His comprehensive approach to personal injury claims has resulted in securing millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for his clients throughout his more than 30 years of legal experience. Larry's commitment to justice extends beyond the courtroom as he actively engages in the Panama City community volunteering with educational and humanitarian organizations, including Christians United for Israel, suicide awareness seminars, and human trafficking seminars.
Larry is a licensed attorney in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia and is admitted to all federal district courts and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Larry's legal journey includes undergraduate studies at Auburn University. He is a respected member of professional associations, including the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Justice Association, and the Florida Justice Association. Larry serves on the board of directors with the Florida Justice Association with committee assignments that includes the Civil Procedure Committee, the Circuit Court Legislative Assessment Committee, the Medical Malpractice Committee, and the Auto Insurance Committee.
In addition to his legal background, Larry hosts a live television show which is broadcast in Florida and Alabama called Law Call where he addresses legal questions from the public. The firm has hosted more than 700 live call-in shows. He has received numerous accolades, including the National Trial Lawyer's top 100 list, top ratings on AVVO, six plus years on the Super Lawyer designation which is presented to less than one percent of the practicing attorneys in the United States.
Outside the courtroom, Larry is deeply committed to his family, married to Pam for nearly 30 years and is a devoted father to his daughter, Anna, who is also a practicing attorney in the state of Georgia. Larry's commitment extends to his fur baby, "Handsome Hank" that participates in community events along with Larry. He is a member of Northstar Church and leads a weekly small group with Pam. He also serves as a trustee for Northstar Church.
