Latoya Chambers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude, in 2003 from the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 2010.

Prior to joining Bullock Ward Mason, Latoya established her career working at a nationally recognized mass tort firm for 16 years, first as a law clerk and then as a licensed attorney. Latoya has focused her practice exclusively on mass tort litigation. She is well versed in managing her client's cases with integrity and compassion from the moment a client initiates a case, through the course of litigation and settlement process until the case conclusion when a check is mailed out.

Latoya has done extensive work in various Multi-District Litigations, State Court Consolidations and individual litigations on dangerous products, medications and medical devices such as Avandia, IVC Filters, Benicar, Gliflozins, Actos, Xarelto, Zantac, Pradaxa, Talcum Powder, Infant Formula, Chemical Hair Relaxers and Surgical Staplers. Many of the Plaintiffs in these litigations are elderly, members of communities of color, and/or come from challenging socio-economic demographics.

A champion for justice and equity, Latoya is unwavering in her commitment to approach the practice of law with these individuals in mind. As a Black and Latina woman who speaks Spanish, Latoya brings a unique perspective to her legal practice. Her life experiences have provided her with unique insights into the challenges faced by individuals who have historically been underserved and underrepresented by the legal community. She believes in the importance of ensuring that everyone has access to competent representation and the justice they deserve regardless of their background, language, or circumstance.

Latoya is admitted to the Texas State Bar; United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas; United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is a member of the American Association for Justice where she is active in the Women Trial Lawyer’s Caucus and Minority Caucus. She is a member of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and the J.L. Turner Legal Association (the African American Bar Association of Dallas, TX). In addition, she has been recognized multiple times by the National Trial Lawyers organization as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney and is currently recognized as a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer.

Latoya lives in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex with her husband, two sons, and an adorable Chihuahua. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, eating Mexican food and Indian food, making art, traveling, baking, watching scary movies and gardening.
