Lawrence joined the firm's complex civil litigation group in 2015, wherein he focuses on cases involving asbestos exposure, and manages a busy nationwide practice litigating in both state and federal court.
Lawrence spent much of his childhood on a cotton farm in Mississippi before moving to Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Alabama, he worked for EnviroRem, Inc. as a licensed asbestos abatement supervisor, remediation instructor, air monitor, and microscopist. He oversaw large-scale environmental remediation projects from Kansas to Puerto Rico. Driven by his passion for protecting people from reckless companies, Lawrence attended law school and continued working for EnviroRem by teaching classes and consulting.
Named by The National Trial Lawyers a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney in Illinois and a “Top 10 Asbestos Mesothelioma” attorney, Lawrence has excelled in representing victims of asbestos exposure, pelvic mesh implants and IVC filters, while obtaining verdicts and settlements for those clients in excess of $50,000,000.
