Lindsey Strom manages the workers' compensation department of the law firm.
Lindsey Strom received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2004. In 2008, Lindsey graduated from DePaul University School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois bar. During law school, Lindsey worked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile Justice Bureau. She obtained her 711 license and successfully prosecuted juveniles in narcotics and domestic violence cases. Before working at Strom Yen Injury Attorneys, Ltd., Lindsey practiced workers’ compensation as an insurance defense attorney. Her experience working for the insurance companies has provided a wealth of knowledge and has made her better equipped to help those injured workers in need. Lindsey is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association and sat on the Board of Directors before becoming an executive board member in 2024.
In 2013, Lindsey was also selected by Super Lawyers & Chicago Magazine to the prestigious Rising Stars List as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in Illinois. This is an honor received by only 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois each year. In October 2013, Lindsey was also recognized by Chicago Magazine and Super Lawyers as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Illinois. She received the honor of being selected as a Super Lawyer for several years.
Since 2015, Lindsey was recognized as one of the ‘10 Best’ attorneys for Illinois by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. In order to achieve this honor, one must be formally nominated by the board, clients, and/or a fellow attorney; have attained the highest degree of professional achievement in his or her field of law; and have an impeccable client satisfaction rating. Lindsey has continuously been recognized as an Emerging Lawyer in Illinois. Emerging Lawyers are made up of the top two percent of lawyers who are 40 years old or younger OR practicing law 10 years or less and have proven themselves professional, ethical, and experienced at an early point in their legal career.

This prestigious award officially recognizes Lindsey as one of the most outstanding performers in her field.
